As you said, Picasa does the basics that I need, that is adding some lights and cropping some pictures plus it enables me to view my pictures in a single software. I rarely use GIMP though but it sure as hell is good, considering the work that my friends accomplish with it. Last week there was a debate between two of my friends, we had to do a banner and one of them said, don't worry I'll photoshop it and the other said. "man, do you actually have photoshop at home?" and the other went like, "no, but I've got GIMP" and they started debating about Gimp v/s Photoshop. lol I have never used photoshop in my life. I mean duh, did he believe I wanted to buy the monitor only, without having a CPU? Then he went about telling me how the 19 inch one was far better. Aargh, I was close to shouting at him when we concluded the sale. You bought the laptop and killed the salesman! haha!
